Lockheed Martin Mail Sorter
Lockheed Martin manufactures mail handling systems. The ST-3000 is a flat sorting machine marketed to large corporations, universities, and smaller postal applications. Working with Lockheed Martin, we defined new materials and processes that resulted in the ST-3000. The sleek, elegant appearance significantly reduced machine noise and reduced manufacturing costs. Service access and user ergonomics were also improved. Brownlie Design created a full scale, fully functional prototype for introduction at the National Postal Forum Trade Show. The aesthetic design and utility of this new product helped reinforce Lockheed Martin's reputation as an innovator in the market place.
