After Hours with the BBC! (Brownlie Beer Club)

July 8th was a special occasion at Brownlie Design. The Brownlie Beer Club, which meets once a week after work,  was introduced to four beers from a local micro-brewery, Lucky Hare Brewing, in Hector NY.

Ian, the Lucky Hare brew master, posted on Facebook that he was looking to adopt a barn cat. We saw the post and said “ Game on!”  A quick email let Ian know that one of our Brownlie team had the feline of his dreams…and also dropped a few hints that we like beer. 

Ian and his assistant brewer, Rick,  were more than happy to bring out a selection of delicious brews from their 2 year old brewery -  Cezanne, TwoCan Slam, Double IPA, and Milk Milk. For an hour, we talked about beer, heard the story of Lucky Hare Brewing, and made new friends the way people do when sharing time over good beer.

If you are going to be in the Finger Lakes area or anywhere near us in Skaneateles, check in to see if it’s Beer Club night. We love guests and it’s a great way to end a project meeting or kick-off.
